Oxana Kravtsova, known by her artistic pseudonym OXYPOINT, was born in
1984 in the USSR, in Kazakhstan. At the age of 12, she moved with her
parents and sister to Russia, settling in a small Siberian town, where
she graduated from a children's art school. Her creative path was then
interrupted as she went on to study law. In 2014, she moved to
Slovenia with her husband and daughter. At the age of 34, she picked
up her brushes and paints again — and hasn't stopped painting since.
She draws inspiration from the beautiful nature of Slovenia and uses
various techniques in her work: watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting
with a palette knife, which allows her to create rich textures and
dynamic compositions. She prefers to depict landscapes, still lifes,
and motifs from life. Over seven years of artistic practice, she has
participated in exhibitions in Slovenia, Japan, the USA, Poland,
Serbia, Singapore, and many other countries. Today, her works are held
in private collections around the world.
