Bruna Starrantino lives in Sicily, her homeland. Her enchanted island. An art therapist and counselor. A writer, poet, and multifaceted artist. She has designed and curate workshops in Theatre Therapy, Scenic Writing, and Poetry (2002-2019). She has created painting and sculpture ateliers (2002-2019). She has written articles for the quarterly journal Arti Terapie (edited by the University of Rome - La Sapienza) (1998-2001). She has published in numerous poetry anthologies, including: Encyclopedia of Contemporary Italian Poets - Aletti Editore (2023). Dedicated to... - Aletti Editore (2023). She collaborates as an Honorary Consultant in the International Project "Women's Chair." Over the years, she has received numerous awards: 1st Prize "Giovanni Verga Literary Competition" (Short Essay), Honorable Mentions, Merit Mentions, and Finalist Certificates, in prestigious National and International Poetry Competitions.
